At this year’s Embedded World in Nuremberg, Germany, will be showcasing solutions for networking devices using the NarrowBand IoT standard (NB-IoT), including Gimasi’s NarrowBand IoT developer kit.
Based on an Arduino platform, the Makers KIT NBIoT by Gimasi provides developers with the tools they need to develop new prototypes quickly and to test out NB-IoT use cases.

Smilebots: it is the fifth time at the final of the world championship

The team was recognized with the “Judges Award” for their dedication in preparing and completing a task: making a robot weighing more than 15 kg climb to a height of 1.5 meters up a ladder with three rungs.
Thanks to this task, in Dallas the team was also interviewed by the official VEX TV and in another podcast which is particularly followed by those who participate in these competitions.

The First Lego League World Championship in Houston ended  this weekend, with the Smilebots team from Ticino competing for the second time.The team finished in 18th place out of 108 participants in the American final.

Smilebots Junior

Junior Smilebots è la squadra più giovane formatasi a settembre 2020 dal corso proposto da ated4kids “lego mindstorm”. Il team è composto da Giulio, Leo, Matteo, Tommy, Noah, Francesco e Giovanni. La squadra ha mostrato sin da subito grande abilità nel lavoro di gruppo e per il “problem solving”. .
