Gimasi collaborated with Deutsche Telekom to fully integrate Level Meter with the GIoT Cloud Platform, enabling real-time monitoring of thousands of bins.

According to Telekom’s needs, we had to develop an intelligent Cloud Platform able to mange their device system around the world.
The challenge our team had to face, was in designing and developing a platform that would allow owners to manage their devices from anywhere in the world, with the possibility of modifying their actions and parameters.
WHAT WE DID
Cloud Platform Development
We began the software develpoment process with the goal of creating a smart platform that not only stores the collected data, but that’s also fully customizable and user friendly.
Through the GIoT Platform, clients can adjust parameters, modify configurations, create geofences, personalize alerts and more to guarantee an unique experience.
Furthermore GIoT Cloud Platform can track the device’s signals both out and indoor, thanks to NB-IoT/2G/Wi-Fi networks.
THE RESULTS
Level Meter Functionality
Combining our project and Telekom’s requests, we integrate GIoT Cloud Platform with Low Cost Tracker, enabling:
- Geolocation, temperature, motion, frefall and BLE Beacon data are transmitted to the backend in real time or at a predefined intervals
- Configurations can be updated remotely
- Cloud-based rules can be defined to manage alerts on temperature thresholds, suspisious movements or geofence breaches.
