THE CHALLENGE
Coop approached us with an urgent and large-scale operational need: replacing the batteries of over 1 million ESL (Electronic Shelf Lables) before theri charge depleted. Failure to act quickly would have riscked distrupting the electronic shelf management system acresso all retail locations. Coop required a tool that was fast, intuitive and easy to handel and use.
OUR SOLUTION
After several design iterations and user-centrets researches, we engineered the Quick Opener: a compact, egonomic tool purpose-built for fast ElLS label opening and battery replacement. Designed using advanced CAD Software and produced with high precision 3D Printer SLS, the tool combines functionality with durable, lightweight materials.
What truly sets the Quick Opener apart is its integration of powerful magnets, wich help secure parts during the label opening process, eliminating the risk of losing components or slow down the process. This magnetic feature ensures both speed and reliability, even in high-volume workflows.
The result? A versatile and field-ready device, tailored to streamline large-scale maintenance operations while increasing productivity and minimizing downtime.
